The Minister of Health issued Decision no. 23 of 2017 approving new prices of a number of 3010 pharmaceutical products. The decision entered into force on 12 January 2017. The new prices are compulsory and they were approved by the Drugs Pricing Committee in its meeting dated 12 January 2017.
Any breach to the provisions of such decision whether by banning or preventing the trading of any of the mentioned pharmaceutical products, as well as any manipulation in their prices shall be sanctioned by the imprisonment and fines stipulated under the Compulsory Pricing Law no. 128 of 1982 and the Competition and Antitrust Law no. 3 of 2005 as applicable.
